Logic is an rapper that has been around for a long time but has recently starting to get lots of publicity after dropping his song talking about depression. Logic is known as a lyrical genius.

Sir Robert Bryson “Bobby” Hall the second, more commonly known as Logic was born on January 22nd, 1990. Almost all of Logic’s music has lots of meaning behind it, such as his hit songs, “Black Spiderman,” and “1-800-273-8255.” Black Spiderman is a song about equality, saying that it doesn’t matter about the person’s sexual orientation, ethnicity, race, gender, or religion, that everyone is made equal, and that spiderman could be any ethnicity, it doesn’t matter, and that we should accept diversity. This is a very good message compared to the up and coming artists who just talk about their money. Logic is not like the other rappers, he rarely flaunts his money, because he just isn’t that kind of guy. This song was released in April of 2017, and until this day, it has over 40 million streams on youtube. His next song, 1-800-273-8255, is a very emotional song about depression and suicide. This number itself is the national suicide prevention lifeline for anyone what may be experiencing hard times to call that number. After this song was released, more people started to call the number and the lifeline received a record amount of phone calls. This song had a powerful impact on a lot of people. During the 2018, 60th Grammy awards, Logic, Alessia Cara, and Khalid performed with a bunch of suicide survivors, wearing t-shirts that said “You Are Not Alone,” which is saying that nobody is alone and that there is someone who really does care about you. This song was released on April 28th, 2017, and the song now has over 220 million streams on youtube. Logic made this song because throughout all of his touring, he has encountered lots of fans who have told him that his music helped them a lot through tough times in their life. Those things that the people have said throughout the years, inspired him to make this song. Logic overall has played a huge impact through his choice of words on his audience.
