Water polo is an amazing sport, and I believe it can be fun for just about everyone. When I first started I wasn’t very good, but i could tell it was going to be just the sport I was looking for and that it was a good choice to join the team. Water polo is a great competitive sport for those who love a competition, and it never leaves you bored. The fast pace action also makes it fun for those watching as the ball is constantly moving. The rules are quite easy to learn, after you have been playing a while and ounce you get really into the game, it becomes more of something you want to do all the time than a sport that takes up your time. Water polo also comes with great benefits. It along with swimming keep you in great condition and health, and can give you great arm, and leg strength. When you are new you need to use new leg muscles that you probably haven’t worked out before, but after a couple of weeks you can really feel yourself improving. Most people want to do sports in which they know they are improving, and this is a great sport to do so. If you were ever like me and did swim, but miss the competitive side of other sports; I would really suggest you do water polo as it gives you the best of both worlds. If you do decide, or want to go to water polo, I would strongly suggest AR Polo. AR Polo practices at Rio Americano High School, and practices Mondays and Wednesdays for boys, and I believe Tuesdays and Thursdays for girls. Games happen over the weekend, usually every two weeks, although I with there were more. It is in my opinion the best team and I think everyone on the team always has a great time. The team coaches are amazing and I only have kind things to say. With everything said, I really think anybody would have a great time with the sport.
