The Syrian war started in 2011 and is still raging this year. Originally a civil war where rebels protested President Bashar Assad’s rule, For years the Syrian government has sent airstrikes to the bases of the rebels. At estimations there were about 400.000 people killed and displaced half the population of Syria. And it’s only gotten worse ever since. Now the chance of anybody wandering in the streets can be killed any moment. Though most rebel bases have been blown up, there is still one in eastern Ghouta where the humanitarian pause took place which took place between Russia and a Islamic militia. This event brought respite near the northern part of Ghouta, where war was ravaging. But this respite wasn’t effective enough. Due to the insane amounts of radiation and insanitation, 1,000 people were killed and 5,000 wounded. With there being so many countries involved such as Turkey who came to Syria for their own national interests. In a way the Syrian war is a mini world war 3. It has become such a bad place that, no one has time to care about daily problems. A woman reportedly said she was raped by a police officer in the broad daylight with everyone outside, and not a single person decided to help her or heard her scream. Big powers like Russia and the European Union have joined the chaos along with America, and all the U.S. can do is help survivors. Reportedly the White Helmets and SOHR say that The Syrian government and Russia have set off airstrikes making Eastern Ghouta like a wildfire. Now that you’ve heard about the war, how did it originally start? The Syrian war started when the government had elected monarch Bashar al-Assad. He wanted Syria to stay as a Monarchy. But the men and women of Syria started protesting. From here on out The Syrian Civil war started. Multiple people were detained, tortured, and killed, which caused even more of and eruption leading to multiple states being destroyed. After these turn of events, Multiple other countries started joining, and now it’s a conflict that Syria can’t solve on it’s own.
