The happiest place on earth begins with the imagination and creativity of Walt Disney. Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5, 1901. He wa married for 41 years and had two daughters.  Ever since he was a little boy, he had a desire and interest in drawing. He got very recognized for his work and at the age of 18, he got a job as a commercial illustrator. As a producer of many of our favorite family Disney movies, he won the most Academy Awards ever recorded with 22 oscars and 59 nominations. In the early 1920´s, Walter and his brother moved to California and opened the Disney Brothers Studio. In 1928, the most iconic disney character Mickey Mouse was born, which was his first major success. With his first creation being a success, Walter became more involved with the film industry, soon releasing his first animated movie, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, (1937). After World War 2, Cinderella was very popular and made more than $263 million dollars in the worldwide box office. Not only was Walter successful in the film industry, he opened Disney Land in 1955. The ¨original¨ attractions that Disney himself contributed to were the Mad Hatter Tea Cups, Peter Pan´s Flight, Tomorrow Land, and Mr. Toad´s Wild Ride and a few more. In my opinion, I think Mr. Walter Disney brought a lot of joy and laughs into many childhoods: everything from his creative films, to his amusement park attractions.
